Bigar or siga the carbonate sediment that is formed around the cold fresh water containing bicarbonate, where the
vegetation is lush. Plants from the water-rich calcium bicarbonate absorb CO2 and around them is deposited CaCO3
and encapsulates them. Rotting plants similar to wood produced porous rock that we call and carbonate tuff.
It is a good building material, easy to process and has been used extensively in the construction middleaged
monastery. Bigar is monomineral rock which means it is built of only one mineral, calcite. It is characterized because
the spongy. Porous texture occurs because the calcite is deposited around the plant after its extinction lag cavity. The
Institute for Materials Testing believe that icicles since bigar is calcium carbonate, no continuous holes. What is in the
top two or three centimeters to remain so, evaporate, dried, so coldness has very little impact on the landslide area of
the rock. Siga is a good thermal insulator and is good where there is moisture and mold because drain walls.
