Product Description
Celtic Plaques Claddagh Failte
Irish Plaque containing both the Claddagh Ring, and Failte(Welcome). Suitable for wall-mounting or free standing.
Part of the Carraig Range
Legend has it that a man named Richard Joyce made the Claddagh ring when he was captured by pirates. Richard was to be married later the same week. Richard was put to work at the trade of goldsmith where he made a ring of gold for his love, with a heart for love, a crown for loyalty and two hands for friendship.
Some years later Richard escaped his captors and returned to Claddagh, where he found his long lost love. He gave her the ring he had made and they were married, never to be separated again.
