MGI - Marmi e Graniti d Italia S.r.l.

Marmi e Graniti d’Italia was born in 1948 following an intuition of Cav. Dott. Giacomo Caruso who started quarrying Perlato di Sicilia in Custonaci and processing it in his plant in Castellamare del Golfo, near Trapani. His initiative had such a success that the company, soon after that, increased its activity by processing granite as well; the number of quarries owned and managed also expanded to other regions of Italy like Valle d’Aosta, Lombardy, Sardinia and Tuscany where the company headquarters is now located, in Massa, with a 6500 square meters building. Following today’s trends MGI is now back on manufacturing mostly marbles, using materials that made its history (like the Perlato di Sicilia) and quarrying new ones like the unique and higly requested Caldia.
