Granisul - Construcao, Marmores e Granitos

Founded in 1983, Granisul is a natural stone processing company located in Vila Viçosa (Alentejo, Portugal). At the time, there were 10 partners, 9 of them brothers, giving it a family character, which remains today.
Despite dedicating itself only to transformation, Granisul had two quarries, one in Monforte and the other in Vimieiro, in partnership with other companies. In addition, it had a stake in another company in Angola, which allowed it to open doors to the foreign market.
Years later, only four partners remained, which remained until July 2022. In that year, Granisul's strategy was rethought and the company was sold to the current owners, Pedro Duarte and Carla Duarte.
