STONE PROVIDER FOR:
Longmont, Lyons, Boulder, Denver,the Front Range and the NATION!Loukonen Bros Stone Company is one of the oldest continuously operating sandstone quarries in the United States, across 120 years and four generations of Loukonens. The quarries have supplied the Lyons Red and the Colorado buff sandstone across the nation and Canada.
To this day, all of our stone is removed by hand using Hammer, Wedges, and Bars; by extracting it this way we end up with a much higher quality of stone product. We take pride in the professional expertise of our people, for without them we could not produce the quality or quantity of stone that we do. Or motto is “We say what we will do and we do what we say!”
We also pride ourselves on the timely delivery of our products. We work hand-in-hand with our customers, and advise them of lead times to quarry and produce stone for their needs on projects. Listed below are some of the projects for which we produced stone, and making them local architectural icons that will endure for centuries.
