Company Description
CORSI & NICOLAI was established in Carrara, Tuscany in 1906 in the very heart of the Apuanian Alps as a joint operation. CORSI & NICOLAI began their activity in the field of marble sculpture. With a small workshop, a handful of expert craftsmen, stonemasons and a continuous supply of their own high grade marble, CORSI & NICOLAI had all the ingredients necessary for success. From 1906 to 2007, CORSI & NICOLAI have branched out from Italy, to the U.K., U.S.A. and Australia, and have expanded their business ventures from the ancient and humble art of sculpture to commercial grade stonemasonry and stone supplies. CORSI & NICOLAI Australia began in 1989 and was founded by Italian employee, Fiorenzo Fele. After acquiring the now well-known warehouse in Clayton South, Victoria; CORSI & NICOLAI Australia quickly made its mark on the map as a reputable supplier/wholesaler. In 1992, Maritha Bosman became company director and has helped CORSI & NICOLAI Australia become a separate, Australian owned company to CORSI & NICOLAI (Italy) and one of the best suppliers/wholesalers in the region. Now CORSI & NICOLAI Australia has one of the largest collections of natural marble and granite in the country that includes popular and rare specimens of stone of all colours. CORSI & NICOLAI Australia really is "Melbourne's best kept secret".
