Skarlis Marble was founded in 1959 as a small concern for marble processing. As time passed, it extended its productive and commercial activities so much, that it has become one of the most well-known and reliable companies as regards exports all over the world. Skarlis Marble supplies Skyros Marble from its own quarries on Skyros Island.

Skarlis Marble S.A. was founded by the Architects Constantino and Georgia Skarlis (graduates of the Polytechnic University of Milan), both, presently, in the marble business, sharing a passion for the beauty of this refined material.
With a modest background, and over 30 years ago, Skarlis Marble set out with its first exportations to Italy and North America. The company grew quite rapidly and, at present, it is accommodated in its large state-of-the-art site plant in Greece with an exclusive quarry of more than 200.000 square meters area on Skyros Island.
