The company “Nikolaos Emm. Manolis” was founded in 1983, with the purpose of extracting and trading the very famous since the ancient years Karystos schist stone. First in privately owned land sutable for exploitation at the area of Agia Irini, that falling in the municipality of Karystos in the region of south Evia, and later on in rented land in the area of “Mellisonas” close to the mountain of Ohi.
The increasing demand of the product and the new market trends, necessitate tha expansion of the company. So in year 2000 the company acquires new modern facilities in the area of Diastavrosi close to Marmari with total area of 3000 m².
Today the company has access in top quality deposits of karystos schist, privately owned quarries and machinery, well trained personnel, and privately owned facilities for the stone process and treatment.
