Company Description
The company “Kamen” d.d. (PLC) Pazin was founded in 1954 and from that time on has dealt with quarrying, fabrication and installation of architectural and building stone.
In 2005 the company gained ISO 9001:2000 Certification. “Kamen” d.d. (PLC) Pazin produces limestone blocks in 7 quarries located in Istria and Dalmatia. Our quarries are staffed by 150 employees, including those employed in special Exploration Department.
Stone blocks coming not only from our quarries, raw slabs and other products made from various stones are fabricated at the Saw Mill in Pazin, where another 165 people work.
The Administration Division of the Company is situated in the center of Pazin, at Trg Slobode 2. The Administration Division is staffed by 65 employees. So, the sum total of the Company personnel presently amounts to 380 employees.
