Properties: This quarry is part of a mass of granite so massive and deep that it was drilled for over 1 km deep by Atomic Energy of Canada for the burial of nuclear waste. We have started to develop bed # 2 in depth whereas the previous owners largely exploited the first level, just at the surface.
