Vals Quartzite is a unique natural stone created by the formation of the Alps in Switzerland some 50 million years ago. The prestigious material is extracted in one of the largest and most technologically advanced stone quarries in Switzerland. It is a fine grained, light-grey, slightly greenish Quartzite with a very well defined stratification. The major components are Feldspar, Quartz and Mica. The material can be used for claddings, masonry and floors.
