Cooking stone ( lava stone) is coming out from volcano burning,
so it can take very very high temperature. And it can be heated either in
oven or on a gas hob. 1, How long to heat cooking stones and to cook properly ? Mostly the standard time is 20mins for medium heat on a gas or electric hob, but you may adjust the time according to the different meals. 2, Why to choose cooking stone? The lava stone can retain the heat for about 40 minutes. And it can cook without the use of other oils or fats, especially it can lock in the nutrients and juices. 3, How to clean the cooking stones ? After use, since the stone will remain hot for over an hour, we must be very careful to take them with gloves.
