Slate stone is solid and resistant to wind and weather. It has a relatively fine grain structure.

Slate belongs to the sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. Slate is removed in blocks and split easily after natural splitting surfaces.

There are a number of different types of slate, often named by geographical area. We offer Oppdals, Snåsa, Lierne, Otta, Alta and import shifts. We offer slate from Minera Norway, Liskifer and Oppdal Sten to very good conditions.

Applications

Slate is a very flexible rock. We make records by measure, and deliver slate to eg garden walks, walls, floors, fireplaces, facades, ceilings and furniture.
