Moon Grey Bush-Hammered Tiles & Slabs

Moon Grey is a natural limestone with a grey-blue colour, and mineralogical composition consists of Calcite - micrite 40% - Quartz 40 % - bioclasts 15% - sparite 5%. Because of its classification is called quartzitic calcite of detrital origin.

In a bush-hammered finish, the stone present small crater 1 -3 mm depth and width uniform along all the surface of the stone, and usually ligthen the natural colour of the stone. The hole size depend on the tools used, the strong and number of hits.There are many kinds of tools that produce a soft bushhammered or a harder one. The bushhammered is one of the most traditional finishig. Nowadays there are hammer automatic machines to process big surfaces.
