Girona Moon Aged C Tiles & Slabs

Girona Moon is a natural limestone which is exactly the same as Moon Grey but half brown, half bluish-grey. The mineralogical composition consists of Calcite - micrite 40% - Quartz 40 % - bioclasts 15% - sparite 5%. Because of its classification is called quartzitic calcite of detrital origin.

Aged C is an abrasive treatment applied over stone surfaces.The abrasion processing using different kind of brushes (impregnated abrasive substances) to get the final texture of the stone. The result get after the process is a uniform surface with a small rough and satiny texture similar to a honed finishig aged over the time. This treatment increase the stability of the surface to atmospheric chemical alteration.
