Changbai White Jade Kitchen Background

Changbai White Jade is produced in Changbai County, Jilin Province. The stone is delicate and dense, warm and clean, firm but not dense, light and not slippery, easy to carve. Glossiness is good, except for a few transparent, most of them are translucent to slightly transparent. The colors are green, yellow, grayish brown, purplish red, grayish white, etc. The patterns are very beautiful, including Python pattern, tortoise pattern, curl pattern, flow pattern, flow pattern and so on. The texture is natural and smooth.

Changbai White Jade was formed more than 130 million years ago, which is equivalent to the late Jurassic. It was deposited by pyroclastic materials, and its main component is pyrophyllite. Pyrophyllite is famous for its smooth stone quality, magnificent color, soft and easy to change. It is an important economic raw material for carving and seal. It is also called "seal stone" in China, and the most precious is the transparent one, also known as "frozen stone". Changbaishan volcanic rocks are loose and porous with good air permeability. They are rich in major elements such as silicon, aluminum, iron, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, manganese, phosphorus, antimony and many other trace elements. Because they contain more iron and magnesium, they are mostly black, dark green and brick red in color. They are porous and light in weight.
