Cobblestone is a natural building material based on pebble-sized stones and used for sidewalks, streets, and buildings.
These stones are notorious for being difficult to control with anything but the most practical footwear and very slippery when wet. Over the years, they have also gotten rid of the pressure of cars and are known for letting cyclists fly off their bicycles.
Cobblestones eventually lost their favor as quarried granite blocks or Belgian blocks, which are relatively regular rectangular blocks arranged in patterns. Compared with the pebbles of the 19th century, these make riding more stable and safer, and are also what most people call "pebbles" today.
Pebbles are a sturdy natural material that was originally collected from the river bed, and the water flow rounded them. When set in sand or tied with mortar, pebbles have proven to be the perfect choice for paving. With the strength of the cobblestones, there are no ruts on the streets.
There are many styles of paver: choose concrete paver, brick paver, natural stone or river stone. They are easy to replace and are perfect for your favorite outdoor space. Use garden stepping stones or concrete stepping stones across your yard in the grass. If you don't see the stepping stone you want, you can also use the stepping stone stencil to create custom options.
