Alta Quartzite- Alta slate is warm and comfortable to walk on, and is particularly suitable for wet rooms and bathing facilities due to, among other things, its non-slip properties and properties in relation to water. Alta slate for floors is usually used with a natural surface, and is produced in many different measurements, widths, lengths, thicknesses and shapes. The thickness is chosen according to what the substrate is like, and whether the tiles are to be laid in glue or mortar. Alta slate can also be supplied with adjusted thickness.
