Stone Information
Arabescato marble is a very valuable variety of white marble with dark gray veins, called "arabesques".
It is mined in the Apuan Alps of Versilia , in the province of Lucca . It is widely used in the creation of interior flooring and coverings.
The name arabesque marble derives from its veins also called arabesques. Very similar to veined marble, Arabescato marble has a crystalline white color and is distinguished from veined marble by its more important and darker colored veins. Furthermore, the arabesque also features oval motifs with veins tending towards grey-green . A valuable material used in interior and exterior design projects , Arabescato marble is suitable for many different types of use, both modern and classical: from luxury flooring to ventilated walls, from interior cladding to use in public areas. such as parks and building structures.
Certainly the most " mainstream " marble of all those extracted in the Vagli basin. Widely used in all European and Asian markets, it enjoys great success in both the North American and Arab markets. Without forgetting the enormous number of "followers" throughout South America, Russia, Australia and as far away as New Zealand. In short, we can truly say that our Arabescato makes everyone agree!!!
