Stone Information
Il Fior di Pesco Carnico è un marmo italiano dai toni leggeri che vanno dal bianco al grigio al verde chiaro, con venature di color avorio, grigie e rosate . Depending on the architecture and design, this material is available for varying uses and rivets if it is internally esterni.
Fior di Pesco Carnico® is a precious, sustainable and versatile Italian marble: it blends harmoniously with other marbles thanks to its light tones - from white to grey, to light pink - and the different veins that characterize it.
Marmaros, in Greek antico means “splendent stone” and the marble is infused with a metamorfica stone capable of flashing the light in various modes, resulting limpido and traslucido, secondly with a definite “cera” effect .
The different colors that characterize marble are instead the result of the presence of mineral impurities in the rock (clay, silt, sand, iron oxides). During the metamorphic processes these impurities in turn undergo a recrystallization process, giving all those characteristic veins of marble and colored textures in shades of red, green, yellow, gray and purple.
Originally, colored marble was not much appreciated as it was considered impure. The only type of marble used was white, considered the only pure and perfect one. This is the main reason why so many monuments, such as the Pantheon in Rome and the Parthenon in Athens, are entirely made of white marble.
