R25 Reactive Unsaturated Polyester Resin

Very reactive unsaturated polyester resin, containing amine accelerator, which allows the product to harden even at temperatures around 0 ° C. The resin R 25, after hardening with a paste catalyst, gives rise to a very hard and clear polymer. Stored in suitable conditions, in perfectly closed containers and at temperatures not exceeding 23 ° C, it has a storage stability of at least 12 months.

FEATURES
Acrylic polyurethane 2k varnish is composed by solvents for an opaque transparent finishing with
the possibility to eliminate the dirty after the application.
Its formula fully complies with the maximum content of volatile organic compounds according to
the D.L 161 of 27/03/2006 relative to the European Directive 1004/42/CE:: e) special finishing
840 g/l. It has got a high resistance to atmospheric agents and an excellent abrasion resistance. It
can be used for all kind of vehicles, car, motorcycle, with opaque finish, and is applicable even on
rigid plastic without any additive. It produces a film perfectly transparent, uniform and pleasing.

STORAGE
Keep the container well closed and stored in a cool (temperature below 25°C) and ventilated
environment for a maximum period of 12 months from the date of production marked on the tin.
Avoid direct sun exposure.
SAFETY RULES
Ensure work area is well-ventilated during application and until surface is dry. It is recommended
the use of personal protective equipment during application. Read the safety sheet before
application.
APPLICATION
Mix vigorously before the application and clean well the surface. Do not apply on wet surfaces.
Add the hardener, with the right ratio, and mix very well (thinner is not necessary)
Apply homogeneous crossed layers and wait full drying (around 60 min)
It is possible to remove dirty spots with sandpaper P2500-3000
Then apply another thicker layer and wait that its opacification
We recommend to apply the product using gravity feed HVLP spray gun.
