Black silicon carbide powder P5000

Description

Black silicon carbide powder P5000 is a suspension-treated black SiC powder. It is of higher purity since it’s acid washing and water flow sieving process. The Black silicon carbide powder has a sharper granule than that of F grit powder. That shape make grains more easily to glue sand onto coated abrasive base such as cloth and paper and stick tight on those bases.

Very clean with few impurities such as free carbon,etc.

High hardness, retaining hardness and high wear resistance.

Excellent thermal shock resistance with high thermal conductivity and low linear thermal expansion.

Good particle distribution with narrow particle range.

Q: Is the carborundum powder from you made by air flow or water flow process?

A: Our carborundum powder finer than F230 are made from water flow process after acid washing. The powder get narrow particle distribution range.

Q: What grade of silicon carbide do you have?

A: Expect metallurgical black silicon carbide, the silicon carbide from us are all of A grade quality.

Q: How will you check silicon carbide quality before delivery?

A: We will check the chemical content, cleanness of the SiC grain and powder. And inspect the gradation, bulk density of SiC grain and powder.

Q: Do you support third part quality test?

A: Yes, we are open to get third part quality test before delivery.

Q: Are the silicon carbide material from you is reclaimed material?

A: No. We only produce A grade silicon carbide produced from high quality melted SiC blocks.

Q: Is there any restriction to export silicon carbide from China?
