Description

Travertine is a natural stone, a sedimentary calcareous rocks given by freshwaters encrustations next to springs, waterfalls and onto the basin floor itself situated by volcanic areas close to sulphide gas emanations. It was widely and masterfully used since ancient roman times for world- famous sculptural and architectural works of invaluable historical relevance that, to date, bear witness of its diffusion and testify an extreme weather resistance.
