White Chibia Granite Qurry

The quarry occupies an area of about 1.2 ha/12916 sq.ft. and is still in its initial developmental stage, with very fractured rock.

The extracted rock is comprised of fine grain granite, feldspar, and yellow biotite containing olivine crystals, i.e., a very hard rock with high resistance to abrasion.

The entire production of this quarry is converted into the following products:

• Dimensional blocks
• Semi-blocs (straight and curved curb blocks)
• Heap (inert)

The quarry has three 75 Hp Pellgrini wire saw machines, one Caterpillar 325 Excavator, one Volvo 30E dumper, and a Catterpillar 988 and Komatsu WA600 wheel loaders, in addition to diverse quarry equipment, such as drilling towers, hole bottom hammers, etc.
