Description:
The Rochebelle Limestone is a type of sedimentary rock that is composed mainly of calcium carbonate. It is commonly found in southern France, particularly in the region of Nimes. The limestone is characterized by its light color and fine-grained texture, which makes it popular for use in construction and as a decorative stone. The Rochebelle Limestone was formed during the Jurassic period, approximately 160 million years ago, when the area was covered by a shallow sea. Over time, the accumulation of calcium carbonate from the shells of marine organisms, such as mollusks and corals, led to the formation of the limestone. This stone is especially good for Exterior - Interior wall and floor applications, countertops, mosaic, fountains, pool and wall capping and other design projects. It also called Rochebelle Limestone,Rochebelle Beige Limestone,Calcaire Rochebelle,Pierre de Rochebelle,Pierre de Bourgogne,Rochebelle Limestone.
