The Conterno family has maintained a constant and long-lasting relationship with natural stone since the company was founded more than 50 years ago. Orazio, the founder, started the activity in Vicenza, an area geographically far from other companies of the sector in Veneto region, all of them mostly concentrated in Verona area, between Valpantena and Valpolicella, in the so called Marble District.
A choice that over the years showed to be a winning one allowing the company a strong project autonomy and a strategic and innovative vision of its own work along with a strong connection with the territory.
The company, still headed by the family of the founder, keeps on investing in products and innovation in the processing. 
From the first activity of quarrying and the working of the marble, which was typical at the beginning of the natural stone industry in Italy, the company has been developing its production of granite and marble manufacturing and slabs, specializing most recently in the processing of onyx.
The willingness to grow led the company to open a subsidiary in Brazil, the Favorita do Brasil, where an efficient staff looks after the quality of material with the same care and attention of Italian branch standards.
