Operating in the granite processing business since 1997, Brasigran has been developing an important role in the export of Brazilian Granite. The company maintains important partnerships with several suppliers all around the country and most importantly it counts on the support and partnership of its mother company, Mineração Corcovado, which is specialized in quarrying exotics and exclusive materials from its own quarries around the country and has been exporting granite blocks to Europe and Asia for the past 20 years.
This vertical integration, from quarrying to the shipping operations, combined with the large and valuable range of exotic and exclusive materials, enabled the company to have a total control of the production, guaranteeing a regular supply to its clients, and becoming in a short period one of the leading Brazilian exporters of granite slabs worldwide.
The company’s vision is to specialize in two segments represented by the high turnover materials, and the exotic / super exotic materials. In the first case, the company is focusing into investments on the latest technology viewing to maintain modernized its industrial park, which is currently formed by imported and automated polishing lines, gang-saws and diamond wire saws. For the second case, the company created a specific sector to craftily treat the exotic and super exotic materials which, for being valuable, rare and delicate, require a specific and individual treatment. More than 40 highly specialized stone artisans work with semi-automated machines, or even manually in each slab in order to achieve the perfect finishing, bringing out the beauty of the stones commercialized by Brasigran.
