Mark and Patty Lange established Northland Monument in 1985, and in 1990 Granite Designs emerged to meet the rising demand for specialized stone products. Northland Monument is a third generation family business. Northland Monument's legacy is their diligent pursuit to produce top quality stone product in a timely manner.  
In our 3rd generation, we have over 100 years of experience among family members working with stone. Northland Monument also recruits employees who maintain an extensive knowledge and love for working with stone.
Although staff members are continually educated and trained in the most up-to-date computer technology, they also heavily rely on the "old school" know-how about stone fabrication. They understand how to "become the stone in order to create it". This allows Northland Monument & Granite Designs to take on projects that are too complex or difficult for other stone companies.
