Colonial Marble Company, Inc. has been family owned and operated for over 85 years. Benedetto Fichera immigrated to the United States from Italy. He started Colonial Marble Co. as a small tile shop. Through time, he was able to grow the company into one of the area’s premier Marble and Granite importers, suppliers, fabricators, and installers. Benedetto started a legacy by passing along his knowledge and expertise to his son Alfred Fichera.
Now under the operation of fourth generation family members, Colonial Marble has provided Boston with nearly 100 years of stone manufacturing expertise. From Boston’s South Station to its historic Back Bay residences, Colonial Marble’s work is exhibited in its finest forms.
