Stein Group ltd is a company registered in Sofia in the year 2000.
Our business consists in the research, production and trade of inert materials and trade of goods of our own production.
At the moment the company is specialized in the extraction and manufacturing of red sandstone, from the quarry “KOSHARATA” situated in the village of Lesidren, municipality Ugarchin, Lovech, Bulgaria.
Red Sandstone
Macroscopically, the rock is crimson red with a granular construction, notably dense and textured with parallel (linear) vains. As a psammitic rockit has a fine grain throughout. In some areas of the quarry the stratification is significant, whereas in others the rock presents itself in the form of a massif. This sandstone is solid yet pliable, straightforward to handle and easily splittable into slabs.
