Company Description
Masonry restoration has been a highly sought after craft since the original stonemasons took chisel to stone. Natural stone (and these days, even our man-made substitutions) are real assets in a property. Taking proper care of them makes sense.
Our point of difference is that we offer our services as traditionally qualified stonemasons, not stone technicians. That difference brings a deeper level of skill and artistry to our work – ensuring a finish that is fit-for-purpose, long lasting and robust.
Natural stone restoration
Natural stone comes in a variety of forms but essentially it is an organic material where no two slabs are the same. Professional natural masonry restoration done well, provides a seamlessness that a technician just can’t deliver.
It takes a thorough understanding of the properties of stone and the compounds that interact with it to determine the best approach to restoring natural stone. Marble is different to granite and understanding what does and doesn’t work with a stone sits at the very core of our craft.
Natural stone repair
Natural stone repair takes more than plugging holes or filling cracks. We work with the stone’s natural beauty and unique patina to craft a natural stone repair that will stand the test of time.
Because we understand the characteristics of stone we understand its surrounds, the substructure and the grouting that holds it in place. Our craft means we factor this in for all our man-made or natural stone restorations and repairs to give you security in a well-executed, complete and lasting finish.
Masonry repairs
As stonemasons, we also undertake all kinds of masonry repairs. We’ve listed the common ones throughout this site; stone cleaning, polishing and sealing, tiles and grouting through to benchtop repairs. If you have an issue with stone, talk to us.
We’re talking about the kind of craftsmanship that has seen us work at The Ritz Hotel and Claridges in London along with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s private home in Southern England.
