Indonesian Marble Industry Tulungagung (IMIT) was incorporated in 1961 by the government of the Republic of Indonesia.

In 1994 IMIT was privatised, investment in modern Italian machinery allowed IMIT to increase marble production from its quarries and processing factory. 

IMIT produces beige marbles slabs, washbasins, wash bowls, bench tops.
