Charles Shaw Stonemasons

Charles began his training nearing 30 years ago, undertaking a 5 year apprenticeship as a banker mason with Stephen Lonsdale Stonemasons of London, where he worked on such buildings as Clarence House and Westminster Abbey.
He has since worked in France, where his skills with lime mortars were honed, and Australia. On his return to England Charles worked for some years for Treasures of Ludlow.  He now runs Charles Shaw Stonemasons from his home county of Shropshire, serving Shropshire, Herefordshire, Powys and beyond into Staffordshire and Cheshire, and south towards Bristol and South Wales.
