Marmi E Granito

Established in 1990, by Simon Hunter and Robert Payne, Marmi & Granito was born from a desire to combine their business qualifications with their experience and appreciation of the stone industry. Within two years, Marmi & Granito bought out an existing Central London factory and developed, from a small outfit specialising in fixing other people's stone, to a niche manufacturing and contracting business. Since then, the factory floor space has quadrupled in size, and display areas have been added, allowing examples of finished work to be set alongside work in progress. Today, besides the original partners, who already boast a combined 40 years experience in the Industry, Marmi & Granito is represented by an established workforce, united by a love of stone, and with the ability to produce first class work in every aspect. As the images of finished work show, Marmi & Granito is capable of working with small items of fine furniture through to complete stone packages for the Country's finest properties. Marmi & Granito is willing to embrace new technologies and innovations in the stone industry, such as computerisation, water jet technology and lightweight veneers, whilst still appreciating the time-honoured practices of such an ancient profession. This willingness to develop their craft further, which is often driven by clients' requests, is demonstrated by the extensive range of works clients have commissioned.
