Stone has been quarried in the Swedish province of Bohuslän for centuries, so it is no coincidence that Hallindens Granit AB operates in Tossene and Skarstad. The Grey and Red Bohus granite we extract from our quarries is the Swedish primary rock, wich guarantees high quality in every block. Thanks to their unique colours, the granites from these quarries are very much sought-after for buildings, gravestones and decorative work, since they can be worked in a wide variety of ways. They are also used in idustrial applications, including straight edges and machine construction. As the quarries have expanded, we have acquried modern machinery to improve production effciency, so that we can meet our customers’ requirements for block size, delivery time and quality.
