The company CROMARBO, a family business for several generations, has in 1937 in the beautiful region of Rhisnes established. But the real roots of our company are much deeper .... From 1836 to the family began Bayot the marble quarries in the region between Sambre and Meuse to reclaim. In 1900 Armand Croo Bergh married a daughter of the family Bayot and subsequently took the affairs of his family clean. He gradually stopped the exploitation of quarries and sawmills to install marble Bièmes, Tamines and finally to Rhisnes in 1937. On the other hand was Marcello Bollero of Italian descent, is in Brussels in 1928 and began a trade of marble imports, mainly from Italy.
