CIGMA Pvt. Ltd. is an enterprise of Mr. Abdul Rehman Choudhri who was formerly the Industries Minister in the Government of Rajasthan and is a recipient of the prestigious Vijay Ratna Award. Mr. Choudhri is a pioneer of the industrial development of marble in India and was the first Indian to go to Italy for training in practical Marble processing techniques in 1958. He introduced the first Cutting Technology in India by importing the machine with diamond saws. He is also the first Indian who introduced and exported Indian Marble to Italy Japan in 1966.
The family of Mr. Choudhri has also been traditionally engaged in the profession of Marble Mining and Handicrafts.
