Since we opened our doors, Exquisite Surfaces has used these three words to define everything we do. Our mission begins with the meticulous selection of our antique salvaged materials, develops during the creation of our unique hand-crafted and reproduction lines and stands the test of time in the enduring relationships we establish with our clients.
Founded in 1997 by Paula Nataf and her sons, Franck and Alexis, Exquisite Surfaces made an immediate impact on the west coast as a premier source for antique and newly quarried French limestone and antique terra cotta. Since that time, the company has grown significantly in size and scope with new showrooms in San Francisco and Greenwich. We have recently opened a 50,000 square foot warehouse facility which allows us to store our ever expanding product line which now includes: Antique and aged French oak, antique and reproduction limestone fireplaces, Provencal fountains, garden elements, antique Jerusalem stone, salvaged roof tiles, antique Tunisian tiles, decorative ceramic tile collections from France, Spain, Italy and North Africa and more.
The secret to our success is simple – we have a passion for what we do and we believe in providing exceptional personal service to all our clients. That includes constantly searching for unique and exciting materials, traveling throughout the world, meeting local artisans and adding new product lines all the time.
