Company Description
Limestone Philippines has a mining area of almost 1,800 hectares of limestone deposit in Guimaras Island, Philippines. The Mining Area has been approved by the Philippine government for mining through a Mineral Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) on March 3, 1993. The mining area is conservatively estimated to contain at least 500 years of limestone deposit (2 million tons per year mining rate). Limestone Philippines is actively looking for investors or partners to mine its limestone deposit or purchase already mined limestone for export abroad. Fortunately, most of its limestone resources are close enough to the earths surface to allow the easier and cheaper surface quarrying. Limestone Philippines, through its parent company, Dorilag Cement Corporation (DCC), is also open to both investors and partners interested in putting up a cement plant on the island of Guimaras where limestone is abundantly available.
