Patagonia Stone S.A. is a comercial society established in 2002 in the city of Puerto Madryn, province of Chubut, Argentina.The unique and exclusive object of the company is the extraction, elaboration, commercialization and exportation of porphyry products.
During the early years of the corporations business life, the entire output was purchased, exported and marketed by Italian companies, since the excellent product quality, the reasonable selling prices and the exceptional red colouring of our porphyry (which chromatically differs from the grey or mixed hues prevailing in the Patagonian production) have generated a considerable demand in Europe and Japan.
At present, “Patagonia Stone S.A.” is the ONLY COMPANY IN THE WORLD that has developed technology, processing techniques, and a very apt packing effective to elaborate and commercialize CALIBRATED PORPHYRY PRODUCTS OF NATURAL FACE FROM QUARRY, surpassing the traditional techniques of production and packing of the Italian industry of porphyry.
The staff, facilities and quarry equipment as well as the machinery of the two workshops the company has in Paraje Conanilleo and Puerto Madryn Industrial Area ensure an annual productivity rate of 140,000 m2 of manufactured products (paving stones, floor tiles, steps, skirting boards) and 5,000 tons of intermediate goods (irregular stone slabs).
