MARMOR HOTAVLJE, d.d. has developed into the leading Slovenian stone cutting company with 150 employees.
Stone blocks from which products with MARMOR HOTAVLJE trademark are made, are being won from the company s own quarries HOTAVLJE and JEZERSKO.
Due to excellent connections to our suppliers we are able to offer our customers a geological richness from every part of the world: various kinds of marble, quartzite, granite, sandstone, limestone, porphyry, slate…
For the last twenty years the company has developed quickly by expansion, modernisation of technological equipment and wider range of stone use.
Parallel to technological developement the education of our employees has been improved. Various work groups have been formed which are widely experienced in planning, design, research, restoration, treatment of stone products and their fitting.
Traditional stonecutting knowledge and methods of manual treatment are preserved at the same time as stones are treated by computer-guided machines. Explicit knowledge of old procedures is indispensable in renovation of stone richness of historical buildings, churches, market places, fountains… By researching and upgrading these procedures we are looking for new possible usage of stone in modern architecture and design.
