The Moca Stone, has an enviable track record in the field of Natural Stone, which dates back to the days of manual labor in quarries. Francisco dos Santos "Stonemason", who started this project, had a passion for perfection and for art work.
Manuel Rodrigues dos Santos, son of Francisco dos Santos, started the manual removal of stone blocks in 1962. He was always focused in the development of Ornamental Stone extraction procedures in a continuous manner and in the improving of the knowledge of the subsoil and geology of the region.
The company has always considered the quality of stone extraction a top priority, in order to select the best product and to supply it to customers. There is a constant concern in selecting several quarries to find the product that best serves the market, always trying to satisfy customers, which are considered the best company asset.
Currently Moca Stone produces approximately 1500 m3/month of stone blocks "MOCA Cream", and works exclusively for foreign markets, particularly Asia, Korea and Brazil, among others.
Several generations were involved in this project which achieved great industry knowledge and accumulated know-how that guarantees a service to customers with a diverse range of products, a close monitoring of the sector and ensure a strong presence in the market.
With the technology that has at its disposal the Company is prepared to meet the most demanding deadlines of our customers, without compromising the quality of their products.
The evolution of Moca Stone S.A. led to the creation, in 2011, of a new associated company, FA&PA, Import and Export, Lda., which provides fully integrated service in all business cycle, offering consulting, products research, budgeting, logistics and "turnkey" solutions, which will allow customers to have only one ideal partner that guarantees the total service and products with the best quality.
