The word "Kalista" comes from the Greek language, meaning the"most exquisite" or the "finest." The name was chosen in order to reflect our goal of providing the finest quality craftsmanship, as well as to accentuate Nashville's reputation as the "Athens of the South."
Owner
Kalista Granite Marble was established by Ted Overby in 2005 in partnership with Countyline Granite in Cumberland, Virginia. With 35 years of expertise in the construction industry, his vision is to bring the enduring beauty of granite and marble to the homes of the Nashville area.
