Our Company - since 1985 always first
It was in 1979 that Severino Ruaro, one of the 9th generation of a family with a long tradition in the marble industry, decided for personal reasons to embark on an ambitious project: to build a dust purifier that would work with water but without the need for filters.
In 1985, in collaboration with experts in the field, he managed to achieve this goal and, with the support of well-wishers and the encouragement of distributors in the industry, he immediately decided to make his most ambitious dream come true, and so the Italmecc machinery workshop was born. From then on the company experienced continuing growth, passing quickly from a typical family-run firm to a prestigious industrial outfit with a technical office able to design company products from scratch and a sales department communicating with more than 30 countries all over the world.
Production then passed from a single dust purifier to 6 different models in as many versions designed for specific requirements, and then expanded further to the manufacture of related products such as water clarifiers and filter presses. The company’s mission is to continue the search for perfection of its current range and to develop future products, continuing in the spirit of innovation that drove its founder in 1979 when he created this successful business.
