Witthaut Diamond Tool GmbH, a member of the German Diamond Tools manufacturers association, was founded in 1979 by our president, Mr. Hans-Georg Witthaut.
During the past 30 years Witthaut Diamond Tool GmbH has developed from its humble beginnings into a global operating company. Our representatives, branches, and exclusive sales partners supply tools in more than 80 countries.
Our delivery program includes a large selection of diamond tools for the natural and artificial stone industry, as well as for metal, glass, and plastic manufacturing.
Most of our tools conform to the safety regulations of the EN 13236 and are regularly checked for quality.

For decades mankind has held a particular fascination for fine cut diamonds, or so-called brilliants. However, only a few people are aware that diamonds are not only used for jewelry, but also have a very distinct characteristic.
Diamonds consist of extremely dense carbon, and thus are the hardest natural substance on earth. This characteristic is the reason why diamond tools are ideally suited for various types of applications in the construction industry, especially when working with very hard materials. Diamond tools are currently being used for grinding, polishing, turning, dressing, filing, deburring, drilling, and sawing of many different materials.
It is also possible to work on metals, glass, and plastics, as well as grinding or cutting the hardest type of granite.
