Porphyry is a special type of stone of volcanic origin that appears in a wide spectrum of colours, chemical structure and formation. It is due to its chemical and mineral structure that porphyry is characterised by an extraordinary solidity and resistence to chemical agents. Thanks to these characteristics and a variety of colours that range from cold gray to warm red porphyry occupies (in Europe) the main position among all materials used for coverings / lining and paving.
