Use: Because basalt is a very solid and tough Rock, it is often the streets - and rail
and used for road construction. For floor and stair coverings
Tiles, monuments and grave-it is also optimal and is used often. Also in horticulture, it is often used as a patch.
Origin: Basalt is the rock with the largest distribution on Earth. At almost all the deep ocean floor are basalt rocks.
