Sardinian White Granite Block

The processing of granite blocks takes place at the very site from which they are hewn. This is rigorously stonemason's work accomplished by skillful hands and enables us to supply any cut-to-size item our Customers might be interested in. Our products line ranges from blocks to building and decorative elements such as columns and capitals, window sills/borders, thresholds, stairs, window/door posts (jambs), fireplaces, benches, tables, etc. To all the above one has to add the "cantonetti" (granite bricks, dressed stones). Strong and aesthetically pleasing, these are the typical masonry units traditionally employed in Sardinia to build not only temples, churches, towers, institutional edifices and homes, but also retaining/property-border walls and wall enclosures. Some are still standing after thousands of years! Product-surface finishes may vary from the traditional natural cut (cleft) to what we call "mezza punta" (hand-chiselling work). Also, hand-bushhammered items may be supplied. This last processing method is, once again, entirely done by hand affording products that natural look the stone has when modelled by the elements.
