Laurentian Pink (R)
Location: Guenette, Quebec
Laurentian Pink is a reddish pink aplitic monzogranite. The quarry, which has been in operation since 1960, is located north of Guénette, in the Laurentides Region. The stone is used for monuments and occasionally for construction of buildings.
