Product Description

Bath Stone Reclamation have the honour of salvaging these famous steps of London Waterloo
Station's Grand Entrance.
The station dates back from 1848, and was rebuilt through history. The steps
are of particular historical note as they are below the Victory Arch which is a
memorial to the staff who were killed in World War I. In 1922 Queen Mary opened
the new staion on these steps and there is a video showing this.
The steps in themselves are weathered beautifully. Waterloo Station is
Britain's busiest station in terms of passenger thoughput and so the steps are
weathered by passengers and the weather.

We expect to sell these to someone who appreciates the historical nature of
them and hope to sell them in a whole batch.
